Hey there! Thanks for coming to my little corner of the internet! i'm kayla. i have down syndrome but that is the least interesting thing about me.
I was recently crowned miss delaware teen usa 2024. i
i made history as the first woman with down syndrome to hold any state title in the miss usa/miss universe organization.
I am EIGHteen years old and a senior in high school where i am a varsity cheerleader ...go cavs! i am a proud member of the national honor society and take honors level classes while maintaining a 3.7 GPA.
my pathway is performing arts. I have performed in several school musicals and love all things acting and performing. Speaking of acting, I am now a paid actress! how fun is that? I Win the movie will be out in March 2024! stay tuned.

i have advocated for individuals with disabilities since I was very young and have helped pass several laws and even have a law named after me!
I love to communicate with the deaf and
hard of hearing using ASL

I am so proud and honored to be Miss Delaware Teen USA 2024. As the first woman with down syndrome to ever be crowned a state title, i want to be able to go into the national pageant prepared and ready to be the next miss teen usa. But I need your helP!
i had the most amazing thought. What if 1,000 friends joined team kayla for $21 each to help me fund my way to the pageant? $21 for trisomy 21/down syndrome because i want to show the world people with down syndrome can do anything!
